CCA Andratx is pleased to announce the next big collective exhibition of Kunsthalle, the recent acquisitions of ART FOUNDATION MALLORA.

As it is already know for our public that Patricia Asbaek, together with internationally known curators, such as Friederike Nymphius and Barry Schwabsky are creating this collection. Here we will find works selected by these three experts in contemporary art, who with their detailed vision of the Nordic, European, American and British market, come to Mallorca with a selection of artists and works that suggest the most interesting lines of today’s date.

To date AFM has collected more than hundred works that mainly dominates paintings and photograph, but also include drawing, sculpture and installation. In 2008 we could enjoy artists such as Phillip Allen, Eric Baudelaire, Alice Channer, Hannah Collins, Hans-Peter Feldmann, Carsten Fock, Kaye Donachie, Andreas Golinski, Haïdée Henry, Uwe Henneken, Gregor Hildebrandt, Alexander Hoda, Rachel Howard, Jitish Kallat, Markus Karstiess, Lucy Mckenzie, Bernhard Martin, Jean-Luc Mylayne, Jonathan Meese, Paul McDevitt, Gerold Miller, Paul Morrison, Hew Locke, Roman Lipski, Markus Oehlen, Gerwald Rockenschaub, Allen Ruppersberg, Sherman Sam, Stefan Sandner, Matt Saunders, Larry Sultan, Bob & Roberta Smith, Meredyth Sparks, Hanna Starkey, Superflex, Phoebe Unwin, Jannis Varelas, Cosima von Bonin,

Cerith Wyn Evans, Clare Woods, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye y Heimo Zobernig.This year we need to add significant names such as Pilar Albarracín, Jan Albers, Henning Bohl, Tom Burr, Varda Caivano, José Pedro Croft, Georganne Deen, Regina José Galindo, Kendell Geers, Evan Grunzis, Jeppe Hein, Lothar Hempel, Sergej Jensen, Kitty Kraus, Alicja Kwade, Deborah Ligorio, Nalini Malani, Cristiano Mangione, Jonathan Monk, Rupert Norfolk, Martin Parr, Florian Pumhösl, Anselm Reyle, Kirstine Roepstorff, Trine Søndegaard & Nicolai Howalt, Alexis Teplin, Mark Titchner, Gert & Uwe Tobias, Lisa Williamson, as well as new works by artists previously represented in the collection.

AFM is the result of the efforts of a large number of companies and international art lovers joining forces and encouraged by Patricia Asbaek and her company AAC are creating one of the most striking collections of contemporary art of today.
